A Day out with AnnaTake one run down farmhouse in the depths of Pembrokeshire, an array of wild animals and a camera crew. Throw I’m a Celebrity and Changing Rooms star Anna Ryder Richardson into the mix and see 52 acres of woodland unfold into a zoo heaven. We are, of course, talking about Chaos at the Zoo, Channel 4's recent documentary that witnesses Anna Ryder Richardson revamp a run down farmhouse and transform it into a fully-fledged thriving zoo. The last time Ms Richardson entertained our presence she was swinging through trees and tackling small critters in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. You can imagine how excited Armstrong was when we were given the opportunity to help out with the task in hand and supply the flooring for the zoo’s reception and restaurant. The eight-month journey has witnessed Anna, once again, tackle numerous species of animals including Meerkats, Snakes, Emus and a group of dippy Llamas. It has been hilarious watching her ruffle her feathers rounding up a herd of pink flamingos and trying to control a cluster of stressed Emus. "Life's all about risks, if we all played safe it would be a very dull world," Anna tells us. Spending the day at the zoo gave Armstrong an insight into how difficult the given venture must have been for Anna and her production team. Seeing the zoo pre refurbishment and comparing it to the final result proved that the task in hand must not have been taken lightly. Armstrong sent our photographer down to capture the day in pictures and see how our floors looked in the brand new reception area and restaurant. “I think the choice of flooring was perfect”Anna tells us, “the colour and design complemented the theme of the restaurant and gave it a welcoming feel. Spending the day with Armstrong was a real pleasure. You can see how determined everyone was to make everything perfect”. Armstrong’s product manager also commented “We decided to offer Nottingham Natural, a design in our Rhinofloor Contract range. We feel it is one of our most durable and practical ranges. The longevity of the floor is extremely extensive and the colour and design schemes we were able to offer suited the interior of the foyer perfectly”. So watch this space for further developments at the zoo. Armstrong is particularly excited over the zoo’s new arrival - a baby Rhinoceros, who will represent our trademark brand Rhinofloor perfectly. Well Anna, if you’re ever stuck for a name we think Armstrong will suit quite fittingly! |
